Dear Friends,
It's apparent to all of us that growth is a way of
life here in Coweta and Fayette counties. Residential
and commercial building is everywhere. New shops and
corporations are coming into the area and existing
businesses are flourishing.
Still, our corner of Georgia can boast a high quality
of life, in a large part because of the efforts of
community leaders to preserve the area's natural beauty.
With parks, bike and cart paths and nature centers,
we are blessed with the best of both worlds.
A lot of the new growth is especially focused in
Senoia and Tyrone, so in this issue we've keyed in
on these two "small towns". The officials in both
are working hard to accommodate new residents and
interests while holding onto their homey feel. We
applaud their efforts to develop the area wisely.
The area is also enjoying added attractions and services.
The Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater and the Villages
Amphitheater are expanding their line-ups and events
so none of us have to travel far for quality entertainment.
Local hospitals are committed to meeting our needs
and expanding their services. Schools offer programs
for the entire range of students they serve.
Our residents' hearts also continue to grow. Braelinn
Community Services and the Coweta Samaritans are two
local organizations that bring people together, connecting
those in need to those who can help. Through everyone
working together, Coweta and Fayette counties will
continue to grow strong into the future.
