Buckhead Elegance and Newnan Charm

When you step into Brick Yard Restaurant, you're overtaken with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Sit down, open the menu, and there's no end to the gourmet temptations. Jeff Ingram, Brick Yard's owner and chef, has created a superb menu, then rounded it out with exceptional service and inviting décor.

Jeff knows how to give his customers a fine dining experience. His background includes almost 10 years in the food service and hospitality industry. After starting his career as the day manager at a famous Atlanta pub, he moved on to become the floor manager for Ruth Chris' Steak House in Buckhead. It was there that he began his formal wine training and served as the wine buyer during his three-year tenure.

As time went on, Jeff knew he wanted to own his own restaurant. He built and sold his interests in two successful establishments before deciding to "come home."

"I grew up in Peachtree City," Jeff says. "When my wife Trish and I visited the downtown square of Newnan, we knew it was the perfect setting for our dining establishment - a relaxed neighborhood where we could invite everyone to come in for a meal and leave as friends." They also knew that Newnan was the perfect place to raise their daughter Hannah, now three years old.

Jeff's dedication to his customers is apparent in every aspect of the restaurant, but mostly in the care taken in preparing his menu. You can choose from hand-cut New York strip, ribeye and filet steaks, steamed Maine lobster tails, grilled salmon with a balsamic reduction, Ahi tuna, BBQ shrimp and grits, flash-fried oysters, crab cakes topped with pan-seared scallops and Maine lobster chunks or the delicious marinated and grilled chicken breast. There's also the exquisite Brick Yard Oysters, their own version of Oysters Rockefeller. All the food is fresh, top grade and expertly prepared.

You'll need a fine wine to complete your meal and here, you'll find the best. Brick Yard's wine list includes over 40 wines, each personally selected by Jeff. From Chardonnay to Pinot Noir, you'll find all your favorites, and might discover a few new ones. For a real treat, stop by any Wednesday for the wine tasting.

The dessert menu features an array of mouth-watering treatslayered chocolate mousse cheesecake, key lime pie, sweet cream and berries, tiramisu and their signature dessert, Brick Yard crËme brulee. All desserts are prepared in house.

"We believe in what we do here," adds Jeff, "and I feel that we have something special to offer to the residents of Newnan and the surrounding areafine dining, period."
