Dear Friends and Readers,

Our advertisers have made it possible for us to give you this copy of the Guide 2000 -- Covering Coweta and Fayette Counties! Please thank them and give them your patronage. This, the 14th annual edition will reach a record number of people with an increased circulation of 65,000 copies. You will find interesting articles about the Peachtree Region, including Newnan, Peachtree City, Fayetteville, Fairburn, Tyrone and Senoia. It also contains the most extensive list of important telephone numbers for both Coweta and Fayette Counties -- making it a useful reference source all year long.

This year's edition is dedicated to Michael Degner who was a part of our team for too short of a time. May this recollection of Michael allow his life to be an inspiration to all of us.

In Memory of Michael Degner From his Junior year at McIntosh High in 1998 until he was ready to leave for Berry College in August of 1999, Michael worked as an intern in our company. From the beginning, Michael was a special guy -- always a smile, always a willing attitude, always working hard to do his job well. Regardless of what he was asked to do, from following up on Rotary phone book ads, to doing marketing reports, to taking out the garbage, Michael would always respond with a smile and a twinkle in his eye as he said, "Sure!". And Michael knew how to have fun! Many good laughs were enjoyed by all of us as Michael brought a great sense of humor to the office. The little monkey on the border is a reminder of the special fun and friendship Michael had with Kyoko, our designer, as they swapped the monkey and a message almost daily. But most of all, Michael loved the Lord! He lived his life as unto the Lord, and he shared his love with everyone. His vacations, while he was with us, were spent on a Grace Evangelical Church mission trip to work for two weeks on an Indian reservation in Montana, and after his Senior year, he left for three weeks to work on a similar mission in Turkey. Michael lost his life in an automobile accident in September 1999. His funeral was attended by hundreds of people from all segments of our community -- in his brief life, Michael touched many people with his personal Christian witness and attitude toward his fellowman. Our staff was blessed by Michael's participation with us -- we believe that God had a great plan for Michael and it was fulfilled.

Charlie
