International Service:

Service projects that Peachtree City Rotarians conduct to benefit internationally include:

  • Immunization projects that seek to eradicate Polio from the world
  • International literacy projects
  • Group Study Programs that exchange professionals between the U.S. and other countries to improve/promote understanding
  • The Georgia Rotary Student program that brings students from throughout the
    world to study in Georgia universities
  • Watershed protection and sanitation programs that bring healthful clean water supplies to the world’s two billion people who don’t have them

Public Relations:

Rotarians cannot do what we do without informing and reaching out to the public to provide information, and seek help or support. Our public relations team works to:

  • Maintain excellent relationships with all local media
  • Seek recognition for Peachtree City public service personnel – police and fire departments
  • Seek recognition for Peachtree City and Fayette County school personnel and students
  • Inform local citizens of voting opportunities and provide information about all candidates running for offices
  • Provide publicity to inform the community of club service projects s
